Aliza turned THREE!!!

On the 4th of July (during a trip to Utah) Aliza turned 3 years old! I can't believe she is so big already! We love her so much. She has a fun personality. Sometimes she wants to be the center of attention and other times she is totally quiet and wants to be alone. I think when she grows up she'll be really social. We love Aliza so much and are so grateful she's part of our family!!

Madeline turned FOUR!!

On June 25th Madeline had her 4th birthday. It was a fun relaxing day. We went swimming at my friend Annette's house and then opened up presents and ate cake when Jared got home.

I love Madeline. She is such a good big sister. She always wants to play with Amaya and really helps out when Amaya is being fussy and I'm busy doing something else. Madeline is so smart too. It's so fun being able to have conversations with her. I love you Madeline!!

We're Still Here...

Wow! It's been almost a month since we blogged! I think that's a record. We've had a busy, very fun month.

One not very fun thing though... I got pulled over for the first time in my life. I got a ticket for speeding (35 mph in a construction zone 20 mph, but for my benefit, it's normally 35 mph) and not wearing my glasses. Bummer. So I went in like a good citizen, and paid my ticket. About a week later I got a notice in the mail saying my license was going to be suspended for 1 month for driving with a restricted license! What!?! So, after much researching and frustration, I've learned a great lesson... if you can pass the eye test without glasses, even if you wear glasses sometimes, do it! I passed the eye exam later on, but because I paid the ticket I "plead guilty" and therefore couldn't get out of the restricted license. Now I'm home bound for a month... hopefully I don't go crazy!

New Trampoline

I almost got a picture of all 4 looking... maybe my sister Melissa can photoshop Amaya's hand out of the picture :) The dress Madeline is wearing (by the tree) is the very first dress I made. It's fun that she finally fits into it!

Jared's Haircut

Jared has always wanted me to buzz his hair, but I've never let him until now. We decided to let the girls cut Jared's hair-we made sure to tell them to NEVER cut their hair.... I think they had fun :) Jared didn't realize I had given him a mohawk, so it was funny. I think I like the normal cut better, but a buzz cut is nice for summer. :)

Amaya's Growing!

Last week I took Amaya in for her 2 month check-up. She was in the 48th percentile for weight, weighing 11 lbs 4 oz, and in the 70th percentile for length (23.25 inches). That is WAY bigger than any of our girls have ever been at this age. They were in the 5th percentile :) She's such a sweet little baby and has even laughed for me a couple times!
