The other day we went to the Dr. for the girls 1,2 and 3 year old well-child visits. The stats are in....
Weight Percentile Height(inches) Percentile Head Percentile
Madeline- 3 30.9 lb 50.6 36.61 35.1 -- --
Aliza -2 27.7 60.12 33 21.35 19.5 91.81
Rachel -1 16 .52 28.5 31.56 17.25 16.68
So Madeline is the average 3-year old, Aliza is the cute chubby toddler, and Rachel is our petite little fairy. Funny the range of percentiles! Our kids are getting big, and we're getting old :)
Some funny things... Rachel is our little daredevil. The other day we were at the park and she climbed all the way to the very top of the twisty slide by herself and slid down the slide! She wasn't even afraid at all. I think Jared counted 22 steps that she climbed up. She isn't afraid to do anything. I think she is most like Jared in that aspect.
Madeline has gotten quite the vocabulary lately and is really starting to understand things. One day Jared was talking to her and told her to pull up her pants (her underwear).
She said, "Daddy, these are pants, they're underwear. Can you say underwear?"
Haha! She is one smart little girl and so much fun.
Aliza is so sweet and calm sometimes and other times is a wild and crazy little girl. She makes us all smile and is pretty easy going and easy to please.
We love our little family. I'm so happy to have a great husband and three cute little girls!!

Our photo shoot with Melissa
When we were in Utah my sister Melissa took family pictures for us and did a great job! Here are a couple of my favorites... well at least of the crazy girl ones. As you can tell, Rachel wasn't so happy, but Melissa still got some good ones. When we got there there were a bunch of ducks. We got some crackers to feed them but sometimes we weren't fast enough and they nibbled at Rachel's feet... maybe that's why she was crying :). I'm going to update my side pictures on the blog soon, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks so much Melissa for doing such a great job!

Great fun in Utah
We just got back from a trip to Utah (that's my excuse for the long break from blogging) and had a great time! On the way to Utah we stopped at the Twin Falls Idaho Temple open house and had a really nice time getting to see the Temple. It was the first time our little Pratt family has been in the Temple and it was very special. When I told Madeline we were going to the Temple she said, "But I'm not big like you" but then I explained that it was a special day so she got to go too. She was happy.
Our drive to Utah was VERY hot... we don't have air conditioning, but luckily we left late enough that we didn't have to suffer for too long. On Thursday night we went on a HUGE slip and slide. You can go to Melissa or my parent's blog to see pictures. It was so much fun! I wish we had one in our back yard!
On Friday we went camping to Heber Valley Camp for a Spencer family reunion. It was fun seeing everyone, going on the ropes course, using paddle boats on the lake, talking around the campfire, and of course, roasting marshmallows! Jared and I want to return to this camp for sure. It is a beautiful place that is so much fun!
After leaving camp Heber we got to return to Aspen Grove, which is where we met and fell in love 5 years ago! It was so fun seeing everything. It was raining so that put a damper on things... but I'm SO happy we were able to take our kids up there. It is a very special place to me, so many wonderful memories!
Saturday night after going to our friends house we went and stayed with Jared's parents. They just moved to a new house in Lindon and they have chickens and bunnies that run around it the back yard. The girls had a blast chasing around the animals and playing with their cousins.
On Sunday we visited Jared's old ward in Orem. It was funny because he said about half the ward was the same as 10 years ago when he lived there, but everyone he talked to that day commented on how the ward had changed so much.
Monday we played tennis (Jared and I lost to Joe and Liz... boo hoo) and just hung out and Grandma watched/ took care of the kids while we played. Thanks so much! On the way home we stopped by my Grandparent's house in Ogden and got to visit for a while. Our whole trip was a lot of fun and we can't wait until we see everyone again!

A great day in History
On August 3, 1981 something great happened.... Jared McOmber Pratt was born! I am so thankful that Jared was born because where would I be without him! Jared is a great husband and daddy and I have so much fun with him. I won't go into all the mushy gooshy details, but I love Jared and I'm so happy to be able to celebrate his birthday with him!
Jared always has a great enthusiasm for life and is always willing to help take care of the girls. He is giving and a hard worker and strong in his faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am thankful to know Jared and I love him very much. Happy Birthday Jared!

Twilight has made me go Crazy!
Last night I did something I've never done before... I stayed up all night reading a book! That's right. Last night at 1:00 am my good friend Annette brought over my birthday present... the last book of the Twilight Series (Breaking Dawn) and Annette, her daughter, and I began our reading party! We lasted until about 4:30 am, and I read almost 200 pages (there are 750ish). BOY am I tired today!!! I'm so excited that it is finally out, but I think I won't finish it until at least Monday so I can kind of enjoy it and not be totally mean to my family :)
Oh, by the way, Annette tried pre-ordering the book at Wal-Mart, but they told her they couldn't do that and that they had a REALLY big order of Breaking Dawn coming in. Well she got to Wal-Mart at 12:20 and they were all gone. They only got 40 books! Luckily she had reserved some at Barnes and Noble so she quickly went there to pick some up. She told me there were 300-400 people who had pre-ordered them there! What was Wal-Mart thinking only getting 40 copies of a major best seller? Oh well, I've got the book so I'm happy :) Happy reading to all you twilight fans. I'm not looking on the internet until I finish because I don't want anything spoiled!
